Actually the Charla pop up window is closed, if the customer navigates to another webpage. Much more customer friendly would be if it stays open. Other chat tools can do that, so it seems possible.
This works now, however there is no option for the customer to close the chat session. So whilst it is good for the customer that the window stays open whilst chatting, it should happen that when the customer has finished the conversation, and clicks the close button to minimize the chat, at that point the chat should stop keep popping up.
Without this or a manual option to close chat, the customer can never stop the chat window popping up for the next 5 minutes until the timer stops, which is REALLY annoying and a bad UX
